Pavao-Zuckerman, Mitchell
Mitchell Pavao-Zuckerman is an ecosystem ecologist who is interested in global change and human dominated ecosystems. His research explores the responses of biogeochemical cycling in soils to altered environmental regimes, with a focus on linking community structure and ecosystem functioning. He is particularly interested in the ecology of cities, and also works in arid systems undergoing multiple environmental changes (including altered precipitation patterns and plant species composition changes). He is also working at the intersection of ecological and social sciences to develop an integrated understanding of human ecosystems.
