Stacey Miller began working on groundfish-related research in 1997 while employed as a NOAA Fisheries Groundfish Observer in Alaska. She returned to fishery studies (and the west coast) in September 2000 to pursue a master's degree at Oregon State University. While a graduate student, she worked closely with stock assessment scientists and members of the survey team during her graduate assistantship with the FRAM division. She began working on the survey team as a research fishery biologist in Newport, OR and is now the Stock Assessment Coordinator for the FRAM division in Seattle. Stacey holds a B.S. in biology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. in marine resource management with a minor in fisheries science from Oregon State University.
