David is a lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Education and Extension, Faculty of Education and Human Resources, Egerton University, Njoro, Kenya. David is interested in looking at the impact of organizations that deal with community action groups in some areas in Kenya as facilitators in soil and water management. In particular, the study intends to determine how effective environmental extension projects have been in addressing the land and water conservation issues facing various community groups, perceptions of land and water management problems by rural community members, competencies required by the change agents in implementing projects and how the facilitation process could be enhanced to optimize the participation of the community groups in the intervention process.
