New paper and new post-docs

Besides authoring “Large-scale Environmental Monitoring by Indigenous Peoples” in BioScience with Jeffrey Luzar, Kirsten Silvius, Han Overman, Sean Giery and Jane Read (Luzar and Read are also CHANS-Net members), member Jose Fragoso has taken on two new post-doctoral students to work on his CHANS project.

Erin Kurten will be working with Fragoso on population modeling and coupling data analytically. Kurten comes from Harvard, where she completed a previous post-doc. Takuya Iwamura, who comes from Hugh Possingham's lab in Australia will be examining land use change and conducting land use modeling. Member Eric Lambin is co-supervising Iwamura.
