Please help Science Magazine better serve young scientists!

Science Magazine and our parent organization AAAS exist to serve the scientific community. In this connection, we seek to do a better job of reaching science students and post doctoral fellows with information that will improve their scientific research, their teaching and scholarship, and their participation in the broader scientific community. To help us in this effort, we would appreciate students and post doctoral fellows filling out an online survey which should require less than 15 minutes of your time by Tuesday, July 5.

As a symbol of our appreciation for your efforts, those who complete the survey will be eligible to enter a drawing for a free Zinio digital subscription to Science magazine that delivers a replication of the material you get in print on your iPad, iPhone, desktop and laptop.

About CHANS-Net

Coupled human and natural systems (CHANS) are integrated systems in which humans and natural components interact. CHANS research has recently emerged as an exciting and integrative field of cross-disciplinary scientific inquiry, with research projects covering a variety of coupled systems in locations spanning the globe. Although individual projects have generated many important insights, it is essential to systematically transform the field to be more than the sum of its parts and provide broader insights of greater scientific and societal significance than those resulting from individual projects alone. The goal of CHANS-Net is to foster this transformation by facilitating communication and collaboration among members of the CHANS research community.
