The American Association for the Advancement of Science Annual Meeting is a known hotbed of human and natural systems coupling.

A quick look at this year’s schedule shows CHANS-Net members presenting on sessions entitled:

And that’s just the tip of the CHANS iceberg in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Feb. 16-20.

CHANS-Net wants to be part of the conversation. We’re encouraging anyone presenting at AAAS to let us know. We’ll post your event and see if we can help boost attendance. If an information officer at your institution is writing a news release, send it to us and we’ll post it.

We’re also looking for people willing to blog for CHANS-Net to share what you’re hearing, what you’ve learned and what you think about topics relevant to your colleagues participating in the study of coupled human and natural systems.

Interested? We have ideas to make it simple. It’s a great way to start a conversation and spur collaboration.
